NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN The Connecticut Bride ® Honeymoon Sweepstakes Promotion begins July 1, 2009. This Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old as of the date of entry. To enter, complete the entry form online at theconnecticutbride.com and submit as instructed or print your name, address, phone number, email address, wedding date on a 3 x 5 card and mail to The Connecticut Bride, C/O Connecticut Magazine, 35 Nutmeg Drive, Trumbull, CT 06611. Entry, must be postmarked on or before March 4, 2010 to be eligible. Winner will be chosen in a random drawing on March 14, 2009 at The Connecticut Bride Expo 2010 and notified by phone, mail or email on or before March 29, 2010. The odds of winning are based on the number of entries received. By entering, you authorize Sponsors and Advertisers to send you commercial messages regarding wedding and bridal related products and services. Sponsors are The Connecticut Bride®, theconnecticutbride.com, Connecticut Magazine®, Barbados Tourism Authority and The Crane Resort & Residences. Advertisers may include those from The Connecticut Bride Fall/Winter 09 and Spring/Summer 10 issues, theconnecticutbride.com, and The Connecticut Bride Expo 2010 exhibitors. Sponsors are not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, and incomplete, for any reason. Sponsors in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any person tampering with entry process. Sponsors further reserve the right to cancel, terminate or modify this promotion if not capable of completion as planned for any reason including force majeure or technical failures of any sort. One grand-prize winning couple will receive a Hotel Gift Certificate for a 7 (seven) day, 6 (six) night stay for two at The Crane Resort & Residences in Barbados. Total approximate retail value of trip is $5,000. The hotel gift certificate is subject to space availability, and is valued for eighteen months after the issued date (the date at which the certificate is issued to and accepted by winner). Certificate is not valid during any US holiday period, and expires eighteen months after issued date. Certificate must be presented to reception upon check-in at the hotel and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. All reservations are subject to change. Reservation/contact must be made with six weeks advance notice to the property or the Barbados Tourism Bureau USA office. Trips are valid for time specified. No extensions are permitted. Winner and travel companion must be available to travel on same itinerary, as selected by Sponsors. Meals, ground transportation, in-room charges, telephone calls, gratuities, incidentals, and all other expenses are not included. Honeymoon Prize is not redeemable for cash and may not be refunded or credited for any unused services. The Connecticut Bride and event sponsors are not responsible for any inconveniences and delays resulting from the prize trip. Reservation must be made in advance by contacting the reservation desk. Prize will be awarded to the couple specified on the entry form and are not transferable. No substitution of prize, except by Sponsors, in which case a prize of equal value will be substituted. Income and any other taxes is sole responsibility of winner. Winning couple may be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release that must be returned within 14 days of receipt or alternative winners may be chosen. Acceptance of prize constitutes consent to use winner’s names and likenesses for editorial, advertising, and publicity purposes without any further compensation. Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older, except employees of Sponsors, Advertisers, Exhibitors, Advertising partners/agencies, and the immediate families of any of the above. Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws. Void outside of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. All entries become property of the Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned.
